Donor Recognition Signs
Whether your organization needs just one simple donor plaque or an entire system of signs acknowledging a range of fundraising contributions, we will work with you to create just the right recognition signs for your unique situation and budget.

More than Just Plaques
Fundraising campaigns are often complex programs entailing multiple stages and giving levels. Effective recognition signs and plaques show genuine appreciation for the gifts, reflect the variations in contributions, capture the essence of the campaign, encourage more giving for ongoing campaigns, and instill pride in the organization. Aesthetics are also important. Donor signs should be attractive and complement the surrounding decor. From the initial consultation to the final sign installation, Frost’s experienced staff will guide you through the multi-step process of creating a one-of-a-kind donor recognition system that does all of that – plus looks great in your building.

As with all of Frost’s products, our donor plaques, walls, and trees come with our well-known service, and iron-clad satisfaction guaranty.

donor recognition system - UMass Memorial Health Alliance
A. UMass Memorial Health Alliance Capital Campaign

This custom donor recognition system was created for two affiliated health care facilities that had undergone extensive renovation and additions projects. Several different types of signs were required for the many levels of giving.

• Donor Wall – recognizing substantial donors: 46" x 69" custom oak frame, dark blue Corian, recessed nameplates with silver raised letters. This system allows space for additional donors; nameplates are magnetic for easy updating.
• Mission Statement Sign: 18" x 22" dark blue Corian with silver raised letters.
• Donor Plaque – recognizing a large gift in memory of an individual: 19" x 27" oak frame, dark blue Corian plate with silver raised letters.
• Giving Tree – recognizing many smaller gifts: Cast bronze trunk, acorns, and stones; rotary-engraved brass leaves. Overall display is 72" high x 126" wide.

B. Lasry Center for Bio-Science, Clark University
A state-of-the-art center for bio-science teaching and research, this new building combines cool modern design elements with warm wood accents. A series of etched zinc interior donor recognition signs mounted on cherry plaques were chosen. The copy was done in coppertone and silver tinted raised letters on a black, suede-finish background. Less expensive than cast bronze, zinc signs show fine details beautifully; won’t chip, crack, corrode, discolor or deteriorate; can be used indoors or outdoors, and are available in dozens of paint colors, finishes and textures.

• Exterior building sign identifying the primary donors: 12" black metal raised letters.
• Individual room donor plaque for interior space: 10" x 10", silver-tinted etched zinc on cherry.
• Recognition plaque honoring the two primary donors to the campaign: 12" x 20" etched zinc on cherry.
• Plaque listing all donors to the building campaign: 23" x 30" etched on cherry.

donor appreciation builders wall, Jewish Community Center
C. Worcester Jewish Community Center
Reflecting the character of this busy, vibrant center for fitness, educational, and cultural activities, these recognition signs were designed to tie visually the newly renovated areas with the original spaces.

• Builder’s Wall - acknowledging three different levels of giving, as well as the building committee: 6' high x 10' wide custom oak frame with recessed, framed nameplates of engraved plastic laminate. Graphics on side panels and top panel were silk-screened on acrylic. This system allows space for additional donors; nameplates are magnetic for easy updating.
• Room sign with dedication: 6" x 10" black metal frame with engraved plastic laminate inserts.

stainless steel donor sign system, Clark University

D. Traina Arts Center, Clark University
This renovated arts center with its clean lines and modern décor required a donor sign system that matched its sophistication. In addition, the recognition signs had to coordinate with the new interior room signs and directories (item E).

• Donor plaque acknowledging all donors: 30" x 30" etched stainless steel.
• Donor plaque dedicating a room to an individual: 8.5" x 8.5" etched stainless steel.

donor plaque, Higgins Armory Museum
E. Higgins Armory Museum

This internationally-known museum of arms and armor required a donor plaque that met its limited budget, captured the unique character of the institution, and coordinated with its interior room and way-finding signs (item B). In addition, the customer wanted to be able to add donor names as needed easily and inexpensively.

Donor Plaque – recognizing gifts of a certain level: 22" x 18" silver plastic laminate, custom shape, engraved nameplates with magnetic backing for easy additions.

donor memorials, cast bronze and aluminum
F. Cast Metal Plaques

Nothing conveys a feeling of permanence, richness, and tradition like cast metal recognition and dedication signs. The casting process creates plaques with two different levels of graphics – raised and recessed. Cast bronze and aluminum plaques can be displayed both indoors and outdoors, are vandal-resistant, and will last for a lifetime.
