A Little History
Frost Manufacturing Corporation has been owned and operated by the Frost family for four generations, providing continuous and effective service to many thousands of New England customers for over a hundred years.We began in 1891 as the Frost Office Appliance Company in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts, manufacturing rubber stamps. The business, founded by entrepreneur F.E. Frost, prospered, and by 1898, we were also selling a variety of business products, such as typewriters, stationery, office supplies, corporate and notary seals, nameplates, badges, and more. Our downtown shop even included a full-service soda fountain!

Today, 114 years later, F.E.’s great-grandson, Douglas Frost, runs the company, now known as Frost Manufacturing Corporation and located at 173 Grove Street, Worcester. During the past century, the business has seen many changes. We’ve moved several times, although always remaining in Worcester. We’ve added products and changed the way in which we manufacture them, keeping pace with technology and the needs of modern businesses. Through it all, however, one thing has stayed the same: we are committed to our customers and to giving them the best possible service.
